FIRST IMAGES FROM APPLE SERIES
We have been waiting for this one for years now, but now Apple TV Plus has finally decided to give us first images from their high end World War II series MASTERS OF THE AIR which is a continuation of the legendary award winning Band of Brothers saga. This time it will be the story of the pilots who had to become masters of the air in order to defeat the enemy planes. Produced again by Steven Spielberg the series will launch January 26th opening the TV season of the new 2024 with two episodes with the rest of the nine part season streaming weekly till mid March! Our dearest Callum Turner leads the insanely massive, and I must admit exquisitely hunky, cast which also includes Austen Butler, Anthony Boyle, Louis Hofmann, Ben Radcliffe, Edward Ashley, Nate Mann, Rafferty Law, Barry Keoghan, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook, Sam Hazeldine, Bel Powley, and Ncuti Gatwa. Based on Donald L. Miller’s book the limited series follows the true story of
The series will have nine episodes
an American bomber group in World War II.

THE STORY OF THE MASTERS OF THE AIR SERIES FOLLOWS
the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the frigid conditions, lack of oxygen, and sheer terror of combat conducted at 25,000 feet in the air. Portraying the psychological and emotional price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of Hitler’s Third Reich, is at the heart of Masters of the Air. Some were shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was exacted on them all. Hope we get a trailer soon!

  1. Callum Turner kinda reminds me of Eddie Redmayne..both have that shy smile. We are watching a Spanish movie called Nowhere....quite suspenseful.

    1. There is a certain resemblance but Callum is way hotter than Eddie, actually about a thousand times. Eddie is not a seductive man, but Callum has certain magnetism, he just looks at you and you are pretty much done.

  3. I think Jason watched Band of Brothers. I did not, but we sold a ton of the books way back when I was working retail so I knew it was popular. I might watch this one. Jason will for sure though.

    1. It was one of the best series ever as far as I remember, I was mesmerized and haunted for a long time by it, but I was little when it aired. I do not expect this one to be that good, but will watch it for me boy Callum Baby Boo Turner.
