A NEW ANIMATED ADVENTURE
I forgot to show you this one last night, but here it is now: Disney has released first trailer for their new enchanting animated adventure movie
WISH which will debut in theatres around you November 22nd set in the fantastical kingdom of Rosas, which is ruled over by a king voiced by Chris 
Pine. A number of Disney's recent animated movies, including Encanto and Strange World, has flopped at the box office, so it will be interesting to see if this one will score success.

THE STORY OF WISH
Written and directed by Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, WISH is set in
Rosas, a fantastical land located off the Iberian Peninsula. Our
heroine, Asha, lives in Rosas, known as the kingdom of wishes. People
come from
everywhere to give their wishes to a magical king who promises
to grant their deepest desires — someday. Only he can decide which wishes
will come true 
and when. Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so
powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force — a little ball of
boundless energy called Star. T
ogether, Asha and Star confront a most
formidable foe — the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico — to save her
community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects
with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.

A couple of animated TV series that I have ever watched as a kid were the production from Japan and at that time we had very few channels and programs, so I actually watched them. Animated films and series these days are so different....and too computerized for me to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWe had like just two channels when I was little and also a black and white TV lol I loved Russian fairy tale animated movies as a kid, their animated films from the old times were enchanting. Today it is more about diversity and empowerment than about the story and magic.
DeleteI do love animated film, but this one is failing to interest me. It will be interesting indeed to see if it is a flop or not.
ReplyDeleteIt will probably do nice, but not anything record breaking as she really isn't overly interesting. But then again I find Super Mario crazy boring and yet it is close to reaching one BILLION at the world box office.
DeleteI honestly don't think I've even heard anything about Super Mario. But I don't follow video games, so there's that I suppose. I do know they are putting a Mario World attraction up at Universal Studios at some point. I believe there is one in Japan already. I'd probably visit it for a little nostalgia from my childhood, but I wouldn't rush to get there.
