I teased you with this one a week or two ago but now we have the full intensely erotic trailer and character photos for new four episode mini series OBSESSION which brings heat to Netflix April 13th! It is based on Josephine Hart's novella Damage which was told from the point of view of the male protagonist, but in this series they take a more feminist angle giving the female lead a deeper story as well to suit the script writer's feminist agenda. Richard Armitage leads the cast as a man who embarks on a steamy secret sex affair with a woman who is supposed to marry his son. Oh, well, cannot say we blame her, who wouldn't

  THE NEW SERIES FOLLOWS

a respected London surgeon whose affair with his son’s fiancée turns into an erotic infatuation that threatens to change their lives forever! Armitage is William, a doctor who embarks on a passionate affair with his soon-to-be daughter in law, Anna (Charlie Murphy). Anna is already engaged to William’s son Jay (Rish Shah). She fights to keep both relationships alive, one with Jay and one with William, but it is inevitable that the truth will emerge and someone is going to get hurt. In the meantime, William finds himself drawn into an obsessive spiral, unbeknown to his wife Ingrid played by Indira Varma!

Beside them, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Celine Arden, Isla Jackson-Ritchie, Francesca Knight, Gregg Barnett, Victor Pontecorvo, Letty Thomas, Sonera Angel and Kerim Hassan will also be in the cast. The story was previously made into a 90s film with  Jeremy Irons, Miranda Richardson, Juliette Binoche, and Rupert Graves.
