If you are searching for something to watch this Easter Sunday afternoon with your family, there is something already ready and available: airing as of last Friday, April 7th on Sky's channels in Europe (United Kingdom, Germany and Italy), Stan streamer in Australia and MGM + for the audience in Northern America, is THE PORTABLE ADVENTURE fantasy adventure film directed by Jeffrey Walker and starring Sam Neill (who replaced Guy Pearce in this role), Patrick Gibson, Christoph Waltz, and Miranda Otto. This Jim Henson company produced and designed movie is actually a big screen movie adaptation of the first book in Tom Holt’s popular J.W. Wells & Co. book series!
 
STORY OF THE MOVIE CENTRES
on Paul Carpenter (Patrick Gibson) and Sophie Pettingel (Sophie Wilde), lowly, put-upon interns who begin working at the mysterious London firm J.W. Wells & Co., and become increasingly aware that their employers are anything but conventional. Charismatic villains Humphrey Wells (Christoph Waltz), the CEO of the company, and middle manager Dennis Tanner (Sam Neill) are disrupting the world of magic by bringing modern corporate strategy to ancient magical practices, and Paul and Sophie discover the true agenda of the vast corporation.     Looks lovely. I won't watch it today, but if I have it on any of my streamers, I'll save it to my queue to watch later. I like to have easy viewing for when I'm mindlessly sanding spoons and such for work.
