BRADLEY JAMES JOINS THE CAST
Returning cast also includes Bradley Freegard (King Canute), Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson (Olaf Haraldsson), Laura Berlin (queen Emma of Normandy), our boy David Oakes (Earl of Godwin), Pollyanna McIntosh (Queen Ælfgifu) and Soren Pilmark (Sweyn Forkbeard). Our dearest Bradley James has joined the cast as Harekr, the ruler of Jómsborg and leader of the most pagan Vikings of all, with Hayat Kamille as Muslim astronomer Mariam, Marcin Dorocinski as King Yaroslav the Wise, the uncle of Olaf and Harald and the ruler of Novgorod, and Sofya Lebedeva
as Elena, the daughter of a Russian noble.
I remember Sofya from McMafia, one of the few nice characters.
ReplyDeleteWhich Sofya?
DeleteLebedeva. She was also in Ivan the Terrible.
DeleteI've never heard of her before, sadly. Russians have more famous actors than actresses, the only one I remember is Svetlana Kholodchenkova and the ones that played Catherine the Great. And Yuliya Pereshild who flew into space last year to shoot first film up above.
DeleteIt really was a good trailer. I think I want to go back in time and snag me a hot Viking warrior. People want to protest about everything these days. I think I'm going to make a ruckus until we have hot Vikings roaming around again.
ReplyDeleteThey did smell nasty, though. They have this very hot German warrior in Barbarians season two, played by Robert Maaser, he is hot as hot gets, but he smells like his pet pigs LOL
DeleteWell, if we get them back in our time, we have this magical invention called soap. I will gladly lather up my Viking with some herbal soaps that smell magnificent! Then I will get him dirty again, so we can continue the soap-dirty cycle lol
DeleteIndeed. Henry's Geralt smelt like horse shit and sweat in Witcher, but it was nothing that a good bath couldn't fix...
