TOM PARKER IS ONE HELLUVA HOT HENRY VIII IN NEW NETFLIX HISTORICAL SERIES BLOOD, SEX & ROYALTY WITH AMY JAMES KELLY AS ANNE BOLEYN

  BLOOD, SEX & ROYALTY
IS STREAMING ON NETFLIX
I know we have had tons of shows done on Tudors and especially Henry VIII, but can we really resist a new one when it is (often deliciously nekkid) Tom Parker wearing the crown in it? BLOOD, SEX & ROYALTY a new historical documentary with live action scenes is already available for streaming over at Netflix as of November 23rd!  The three episode programme brings a modern take on the British royal drama! This steamy series offers a window into the lives of history's deadliest, sexiest and most iconic monarchs, in this season it is Henry VIII played by the super hunky Tom Parker with Amy James Kelly as Anne Boleyn.

WHAT IS THE SHOW ABOUT?
In the 16th century, Anne Boleyn navigates treacherous sexual politics and rises to become Queen of England. She forges history as she reshapes King Henry VIII's worldview, but she's expected to give birth to a male heir and makes powerful enemies along the way.
WHO IS IN THE ROYAL CAST?
Max Parker stars Henry VIII, the king of England, still married to his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, at the start of the series. He wants to have his marriage annulled so that he can marry Anne Boleyn. Amy James Kelly is Anne Boleyn, an outspoken woman at Henry’s court who succeeds in catching the king’s eye, causing a rift between the king and his current wife that will change England forever. Lois Brabin-Platt stars as Mary Boleyn, Callum Coates as Cardinal Wolsey tasked by Henry with securing his annulment from Catherine of Aragon, Stephen Fewell as Thomas Cromwell, Jhon Lumsden as George Boleyn, Sophie Boettge as Jane Boleyn, Adam Astill as Thomas Boleyn and Nikhita Lesler as Lady Worcester! Matas Dirginčius is King Francis of France!

  2. I don't have Netflix but there has been something of a surfeit of Tudor shows recently. That said, I haven't seen this of course so won't judge in advance.

    1. Sometimes it seems it is the only English period they shoot shows and films about. We also have Firebrand Henry VIII movie coming up with Jude Law and Malicia Vikander.

  3. They look good, but I'm tired of Harry and Annie (Bad enough Harry and Meg) There are other great Tudors to focus on. Moreover, I'm not big on docudramas. I couldn't finish the Ottoman series in Netflix

    1. Ottoman series is filled with lies and fabrications, I afraid to see how we are depicted in the second season which arrives soon. It is very dangerous when they use world platforms to twist truths.

  4. I would like to watch it but I have already seen many series about that period. Nice shots! Have a great weekend!

  5. I'm so over Henry VIII. I don't know how many times that story can be replayed. I feel like it's on the Disney loop of rehashing the same old, same old over and over again.

    2. Well, that definitely ups the interest. How can we resist a shirtless Tom Parker?

  6. Interesting take on Henry VIII. I can honestly say that I've NEVER thought of him as sexy as I've read about him. Leave it to modern writers to find a new take.

    1. As far as I know he was very athletic and thus attractive to women, but became ugly later on after the knee injury and getting fat.
