 THE STORY OF VALHALLA

set in the early 11th century, chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived, Leif Eriksson, his sister, Freydis and the Norwegian prince Harald Sigurdsson. Season three finds our heroes seven years after the conclusion of season two. Freydis is now the undisputed leader of pagan Jomsborg, and Leif and Harald have achieved glory in Byzantine imperial capital of Constantinople. As it was originally planned when it was first ordered for 24 episodes, Netflix hit series VIKINGS: VALHALLA will end with the third season next year concluding our heroes' epic journey.  Set in the early 11th century, the series follows the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived, Norwegian prince Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett) and his sister, Freydis. The final episodes pick up seven years after the conclusion of second season, with Freydis now the undisputed leader of pagan Jomsborg, while Leif and Harald have achieved glory in Constantinople. But greater challenges lie ahead in order for each to reach their ultimate destiny. In one of the new season three images today you can see Goran Visnjic who joins the show as Erik the Red, the legendary Viking father of Leif Eriksson and Freydis, who is living in exile in Greenland for crimes he committed in Iceland and Norway. Florian Munteanu joins as General Maniakes! It is also expected for Laura Berlin and David Oakes to return in the final season as Queen Emma and Lord Goodwin.

Oh, boy, do I have a nice treat for you today: if you thought Netflix will let us enter the new year, which is getting closer than you think, without something spectacular to mark the celebration, you were wrong - they have announced today that their super popular epic historical adventure series VIKINGS: VALHALLA will return back with the second season (which was shot together with the first one and the third one is shooting as well) as soon as January 12th with eight new episodes. After it premiered last February it immediately conquered top ten charts around the world. As you remember, the story is set in the early 11th century and chronicles the legendary adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived – Harald Hardrada, played by our dearest Leo Suter, Leif Eriksson played by Sam Corlett, Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), and the Norman King William the Conqueror. These men and women will blaze a path as they fight for survival in the ever-changing and evolving world.

 the cultural divide from within the Nordic kingdoms thanks to their conflicting Pagan and Christian beliefs and their bloody conflict with the English royals. All the while, the legendary trio embarks on an epic journey that has them fight to survive and earn glory in their travels across the land. During the Tudum even this weekend, when they announce upcoming projects, Netflix has announced and confirmed that THE WITCHER spin off series

The show will arrive this Christmas

BLOOD ORIGIN will arrive as your Christmas present December 25th! Set 1,200 years before the events of The Witcher series, the six-episode Blood Origin will focus on how the first Witcher was created and the events that lead to the pivotal conjunction of the spheres, when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one. Minnie Drives has been announced as the new addition to the cast led by Michelle Yeoh, Laurence O’Fuarain, and Sophia Brown, who all play warrior elves. The godawful Driver will meanwhile play a Seanchai, a shapeshifting collector of old lore with the abilities to travel between time and worlds. You can also check out the first poster for the new epic series and also a new photo of Michelle Yeoh in the costume of her character. The original Witcher series, meanwhile, returns with season 3 next summer.

Tudum has also brought us an exciting first teaser for the second season of VIKINGS: VALHALLA epic series which will return sometime next year and the teaser gives us a look at  our heroes Harald Sigurdsson (Leo Suter), Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett) and Freydis Eriksdotter (Frida Gustavsson), as they make a desperate last stand against Olaf and his warriors! And, yes, there are some mighty fireballs coming from the sky to save them in the last moment! The series already has third season ordered as well!

Although it will arrive in March next year, Netflix has shown the first teaser over at Tudum event for the second season of their fantasy series SHADOW AND BONE which is set in the fictional land of Ravka, where teenage orphan Alina has the power of light with which she can stop the dark forces led by Ben Barnes. shooting later this September according to Deadline. In the film, Australian star Guy Pearce will play Thomas Munro, a lay preacher who arrives at a British settlement in 1830s New Zealand. His violent past is soon drawn into question and his faith put to the test, as he finds himself caught in the middle of a bloody war between Māori tribes. It speaks of the early contact between Europeans and Maori, when European settlers were outnumbered by several hundred to one and Māori had just acquired muskets. Tamahori and Pearce have been planning to work together for nearly twenty years now.
