FINAL EPIC SEASON TRAILER IS HERE

And not just the trailer, but also the streaming date as Netflix has scheduled the final, third season of popular epic TV series VIKINGS: VALHALLA for July 11th! Final eight episodes will see Leo Suter, Sam Corlett, Frida Gustavsson, return as Harald Sigurdsson, Leif Eriksson and Freydis Eriksdotter, next to Laura Berlin as Queen Emma of Normandy, David Oakes as Lord Godwin, and Bradley Freegard as King Canute. Florian Munteanu will guest star as general Maniakas, Goran Visnjic as Erik the Red, Pollyanna McIntosh as Queen Ælfgifu, Soren Pilmark as Sweyn Forkbeard, Sofya Lebedeva as Elena!  THE STORY OF VALHALLA

set in the early 11th century, chronicles the heroic adventures of some of the most famous Vikings who ever lived, Leif Eriksson, his sister, Freydis and the Norwegian prince Harald Sigurdsson. Season three finds our heroes seven years after the conclusion of season two. Freydis is now the undisputed leader of pagan Jomsborg, and Leif and Harald have achieved glory in Byzantine imperial capital of Constantinople. In television news today, one of the lovely faces from the British TV, Sean Maguire is crossing over the pond again after Once Upon a Time in order to star in NBC's new series TIMELESS. After playing Robin Hood in ABC fantasy series, here he will portray Ian Fleming, author of the famous James Bond novels! In the fourth episode of the time travelling drama, the heroic trio led by historian Lucy will encounter Fleming early in his pre Bond career, when he served as an undercover British agent behind enemy lines.

Premiering October 3rd at NBC TIMELESS stars Goran Visnjic as a time travelling criminal who steals a time machine in order to change the course of American history and destroy the country. Charged with the job of travelling back in time to catch him are a team made up of a history professor (Abigail Spencer), a soldier (Matt Lanter) and a scientist (Malcolm Barrett)! They must use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of this dangerous fugitive. When pregnant Parvaneh and her family moves into the terraced house opposite and accidentally backs into Ove's mailbox it turns out to be an unexpected friendship. A drama comedy about unexpected friendship, love and the importance of surrounding yourself with the proper tools.

With the news that AMC has renewed INTO THE BADLANDS epic series for second season and PBS their civil war saga MERCY STREET for a second run, there is also a piece of TV news coming from ABC that they have cast stunning Jono Kenyon as the lead in their hybrid sitcom TOAST! Coming from Shondaland and Scott Foley, if follows an engaged couple Max Leeds (Kenyon) and Paige, who, over their wedding rehearsal dinner, have their eclectic family and friends give toasts recalling anecdotes about the couple — but flashbacks reveal that the toasts don’t always get it right, as we watch the true story of their complicated, funny and relatable road to marriage. Tessa Ferrer will play Max' closest friend.

GORAN VISNJIC IS VILLAIN

IN 'TIME' SF ADVENTURE SERIES
 In other TV news, NBC's adventure series TIME has just cast Goran Visnjic as the main villain! It follows an unlikely trio (Abigail Spencer, Matt Lanter, Malcolm Barrett) who travel through time to battle a master criminal (Visnjic) intent on altering the fabric of human history with potentially catastrophic results. Vulnerable, damaged and oddly emotional, Visnjic’s Garcia Flynn is a dangerous man who’s recently stolen a time machine and travelled with his team of soldiers to the hours prior to the Hindenburg’s explosion. Flynn is guided by a strange journal from some other period of time, and while his full plan is still shrouded in mystery, it’s clear that he must be stopped. Don't confuse this one with ABC's TIME AFTER TIME which will have young H.G. Wells chasing Jack the Ripper through time!
