SEE EMILY BLUNT WITH
A BOW IN ENGLISH TRAILER
BBC Two has released a trailer for Emily Blunt's western six episode series THE ENGLISH announcing November 10th as the airing date. Also starring Rafe Spall, Tom Hughes, Stephen Rea and Ciaran Hinds, it
takes the core themes of identity and revenge to tell a uniquely compelling parable on race, love and power. An aristocratic Englishwoman, Lady Cornelia Locke (Emily Blunt) and a Pawnee ex-cavalry scout, Eli Whipp (Chaske
Spencer) come together in 1890 mid-America to cross a violent landscape built on dreams and blood. The series will first visit Mipcom at Cannes with the lead cast later this October. It will also air on Prime Video around the world.

Not a fan of western..BOB HEARTS ABISHOLA seems quite entertaining.
ReplyDeleteIt is the only of the current sitcoms that makes me laugh. I do not like the storyline with her mother, but I mostly watch it for Kemi who is hilarious.
DeleteThe English looks intriguing. I hope Disney doesn't mess up Hocus Pocus 2. They don't have the best reputation with sequels.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen anything good from them. All of the Star Wars shows are atrocious.
DeleteLooking forward to "The English".
ReplyDeleteGreetings
Peter
Hope it will be good!
DeleteHocus Pocus for the win for me today, but you already know that. I don't know why I can't remember the Bob sitcom, but it sounds funny!
ReplyDeleteIt has been airing on Monday nights at CBS for four years now, together with Neighborhood. It is the only one of the still living sitcoms that makes me laugh although this storyline with her mother is not my cup of tea. I generally feel that both Abishola and the females of her family are abusive towards men.
Deleteyes yes YESSSSS to Hocus Pocus 2! I was wonder when you would post the trailer. I can't wait for this one. I'm off to look up if it was filmed in Salem like the original.
ReplyDeleteI think I posted the trailer before, now just a new poster.
DeleteI'm disappointed to report that Hocus Pocus 2 was filmed in Rhode Island, and not Salem. Poo to that!
ReplyDeleteWe poop and shit on that fact indeed.
