I am a bit late with this one, but whenever he arrives I'm sure SANTA CLAUS brings joy: earlier this weekend Disney Plus has released first poster and
trailer for new holiday TV series, a follow up to the classic film with Tim Allen, with Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Calvin/Mrs. Claus, and David Krumholtz back as Bernard the Elf, the head elf of Santa’s workshop in the original films.

IN THIS MINI SERIES Scott Calvin (Allen) is ready to step down from his
Santa duties and provide his family a new life south of the North Pole.
With his 65th birthday on the horizon, Scott — whose Santa magic is
beginning to fade — searches for a replacement Santa Claus suitable
enough to manage the workshop and take care of the elves. After
announcing his plans
to retire in the teaser, Santa interviews NFL hall
of fame quarterback Peyton Manning for the position. The two episode
premiere will be on November 16th! The team behind Last Man Standing is
also behind this one.

We watched 3 Tim Allen santa claus films, but only the first one was good...

DeleteI agree with Angie. The first was good, but they progressively got worse. I will, however, watch the mini series because Tim is always a welcome distraction from holiday stress.
