GORGEOUS FIRST PHOTOS FROM BBC'S TV MOVIE 'LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER' WITH RICHARD MADDEN, HOLLIDAY GRAINGER, JAMES NORTON

  'LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER'
FIRST PHOTOS WITH RICHARD MADDEN, HOLLY GRAINGER & JAMES NORTON
The only thing the spy has for you today are the photos from BBC One's TV movie LADY CHATTERLEY'S LOVER which will air September 6th in UK. The adaptation of DH Lawrence's infamous novel has probably the hottest trio I've seen on the telly - magnetic Richard Madden, gorgeous Holly Grainger and seductive James Norton. Although a producer said it's borderline pornographic, I hear the three erotic scenes in the film won't show any titties, bums nor willies... sadly :(

  LOVE AND BETRAYAL
In the lavish 90 minute long drama set after the Word War One, James Norton stars as Lord Clifford Chatterley and Holliday Grainger as his wife, Constance, who embarks on a torrid affair with their gamekeeper, the former miner Oliver Mellors played by Richard Madden with whom she gets pregnant. The story will have more of an emotional than sexual context.

  1. The sexual content of "Lady Chatterley's Lover" is so terribly tame by today's standards although it was, of course, taboo stuff when it was first published. Its transgression of class boundaries was just as shocking as its sexual content too.

    1. yes, he lets her sleep with high class men, because he can't get it up, but not with the low class boys... which she then does :) They say her husband will be given a deeper emotional aspect in this one making her choice more difficult between the two men

  2. I agree with what Debra wrote. However, seeing this on the screen as opposed to reading it in a book will have a lot more "sex appeal"--even for today's audience where we just have to wait a short time for the next taboo to topple.

  5. I wonder if it will air over here anywhere? Maybe on Netflix? I'm pretty sure we have the BBC channel...my husband watches Top Gear nonstop, so we must!

  6. I read the book during my college days. I can't remember what my thoughts were on it, just that it was readable. I'd love to see this.

  7. I can't wait to see this. Do you have any idea how hard it was to get hold of a copy of this book without anyone knowing about it in 1970's Ireland? Not easy, let me tell you :0)

    2. Of course I did darling. The other impossible to get book was "Tropic of Cancer". So naturally I had to read it. The Church banned just about everything back then, which only made us want it more. Silly people :0)

    3. I tell you, sweet sister, you really must write a book about your Irish childhood and about your mom's life and your missing siblings and all the things that happened later on in your marital life.... there is just so much to tell in that saga of strength and Irish resilience!

    1. yep, with a peasant.... scandal, I say, scandal! Her husband doesn't mind when she sleeps with aristocrats because he's impotent and wants a son... even from another man... but not with their gamekeeper :) Although, Dicky Madden can keep our game whenever he wants...

  13. This sounds like an intriguing movie. I think the emotional aspects of a relationship are far more interesting than the sexual ones.
