'BURNT' MOVIE TRAILER
BRADLEY COOPER IS A CHEF
Check out the first trailer and poster for Bradley Cooper's new movie BURNT (previously known as ADAM JONES) which is out this October. Chef Adam Jones had it all, and lost it. A two-star Michelin rockstar with the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third elusive Michelin star though, he'll need the best of the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene (Sienna Miller). Also starring Emma Thompson, BURNT is a remarkably funny and emotional story about the love of food, the love between two people, and the power of second chances.
FUNNY
'DAD'S ARMY' TRAILER
STARRING CATHERINE ZETA JONES, BILL NIGHY, TOBY JONES
Second trailer for you today comes from the new British movie version of famous classic DAD'S ARMY which has a star studded cast including Catherine Zeta Jones, Bill Nighy, Toby Jones, Michael Gambon and is out in UK next February. It is set in the waning days of World War II in the small village of Walmington-on-Sea, where Captain George Mainwaring (Jones) is leading a group of volunteers in the Home Guard.
In a bizarre twist of fate, Mainwaring and his men might just become Britain's last line of defence against the Nazis when they discover a spy in their village.
Burnt: He takes his cooking way more seriously than I do mine:)
ReplyDeleteDad's Army looks good.
Yes, and only Americans would turn a cooking film into something violent. medoesn't like it....
DeleteDad's Army looks funny.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought the other film was a commercial.
Commercial for what? :)
DeleteWe do like British humour.... sometimes :)
Burnt... story of my kitchen most days. I don't know if this is a film I'd like, but that chocolate cake creation in the trailer should be sent to me asap!
ReplyDeleteI prefer warm kitchen and cooking films, not some yuppie who has fits because he can't open his five restaurant... boohooo... meanwhile kids around the world are starving... cry for them, Bradley Cooper :)
DeleteMe too! Like Julie and Julia. I love those kinds of kitchen/cooking films! Ratatouille too. Can't forget the fun animated cooking shows ;)
Deletemy fave is NO RESERVATIONS because my Catho Zeta Jones gave such outstanding and deep performance in it giving the whole movie extraordinary depth. And SIMPLY IRRESISTIBLY too and A HUNDRED FOOT JOURNEY wasn't bad last summer either! Fell in love with Manish Dayal!
DeleteBurnt looks much more dramatic than I thought it'd be. Staring at Bradley Cooper for two hours could never be a bad thing...
ReplyDeletewonder if he will have a shirtless scene in the film.... tabloids are filled with his beach pics with Irina Shayk :)
DeleteI love a good foodie movie and Burnt looks great!
ReplyDeletethere's nothing we lurv more than a food movie :)
DeleteDad's Army-woohoooo! I loved that show as a kid and the Hubby and I just got done watching the series again on Youtube. They make figures for it and I just might buy them.
ReplyDeleteMoi is stuck inside with a Summer cold darling and acting like a big, silly baby over it.
Hope the new version won't disappoint you, dear! My dear Catho Zeta looks born for that role.
DeleteOh, noes, how did you catch it? Did you a hubs went for naked midnight swimming in the river? :) Hope it's not too serious!
Believe it or not, we're still stuck with 40*C and above temps... methinks I've turned into a giant porkcrackling
