SAVE OUR WORLD AND INVADE THEIRS
A little bit on a cheaper scale than the one above is science fiction action adventure SKYLINES which is currently playing over in UK at the FrightFest starring Rhona Mitra, Alexander Siddig and James Cosmo. When a virus threatens to turn the now earth dwelling friendly alien hybrids against humans, Captain Rose Corley (Lindsey Morgan) must lead a team of elite mercenaries on a mission to the alien world in order to save what's left of humanity.

  1. Can we just drop Clooney into the Arctic for real and just leave him there?

  2. I'll be passing on both of these. I'm not a huge fan of science fiction and I really dislike space movies!! My husband recently watched the space movie with Sandra Bullock and I got anxiety just listening to it from the other room. Imagine being lost in space? Ugh!!

    1. I still haven't seen that one, but I do prefer fantasy sf to science sf. Space operas are my thing. I'm having difficulties translating To Sleep In A Sea Of Stars currently as it is filled to the brim with scientific terms and words connected with space travel, FTL, thrusts, space phenomena, technical aspects of ships and flight, gravity etc. I literally need a degree in physics to translate it.

  3. Yikes, if I can help with some wording, let me know. :) That reminds me of when I was in Greece. There was an earthquake and we're watching the news. I understood everything except the scientific term that basically meant "tsunami". So glad that I missed that one word otherwise I would have panicked!
