Those movie producers really don't dally when acquiring movie rights for new books. :))
I haven't read this, but it sounds interesting. There's still not enough fantasy/SF on TV or in theatres. Only one branch of this entertainment that has enough SF/fantasy. And that branch is anime. I think they produce more SF/fantasy then all of other TV/movies combined.

Yes, we should probably start writing our own epic saga hoping that some studio would make us rich after buying movie adaptation rights from us :)))
