"THE ARCANUM", "THE LAST PHARAOH" & "CAPTAIN NEMO" FROM THE PEN OF RANDALL WALLACE
It seems that Oscar winner, Randall Wallace ("Braveheart") has a whole slate of extremely interesting projects. They are so big and so cool that he might experience a Golden age of his career in the upcoming years.
He is supposed to direct "The Arcanum" which is set in 1919. and follows a secret society comprising the era's leading occult investigators - Arthur Conan Doyle, Houdini, Lovecraft, Marie Laveau - as they battle demons and a serial killer of angels.
He will also write a script for McG's water adventure "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo". And there is also a gossip that Will Smith has brought him the story about ancient Egyptian ruler Taharqa and wants him to write a script for the film called "The Last Pharaoh" in which he would play the king who battles with Assyrians.
Beside writing scripts for "Braveheart" and "Pearl Harbor", Wallace has also directed "The Man in the Iron Mask".

Wow! Those are some interesting projects indeed. :)
ReplyDeleteI really hope that at least some of them would be realised soon.
Wow is the right word :) We rarely see writers with so many good projects ahead.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that makes me a bit reserved about this is the fact that he is a bit too Americanish in his manner and storytelling, don't you think?
The Last Pharoah is propaganda. Read between the lines: Will Smith as Obama fighting the Assyrians (Arabs, Iranians, Muslims, etc.) It's sad. America is headed for endless war.
ReplyDeleteObama has just been given a Nobel peace prize today :(((
