PREMIUM SPOTLIGHT ON DISNEY'S LIVE ACTION MULAN EPIC ADVENTURE WHICH WILL NOW STREAM ONLINE NEXT MONTH CAUSING REVOLT AROUND THE WORLD

     'MULAN' TO STREAM
ON DISNEY + FROM SEPTEMBER
When, after numerous delays, Disney decided, earlier this month, to release their live action adaptation of MULAN on their streaming service
Mulan streams September 4th on Disney +
Disney + instead of opting for a theatrical release, owners of private cinemas saw in it the sign of their demise (as they saw the film as their only opportunity to save their businesses after the corona shutdowns which left most of them without incomes), and some were appalled to such extent that one of them even took an axe in his hands in order to chop down the big movie banners for the film which were advertising it in his cinema that might be now forced to close due to the lack of films to show and no big blockbuster to bring back audience in front of the big screens. Disney obviously does not care much. The film will now stream
The film was originally meant for March release
on Disney + from September 4th both in USA and UK and all other countries that have their streamer. The audience will, however, have to pay a special premium fee of $30 for streaming which unsettled lots of their regular users (you won't be able to see it just for the price of your regular monthly fee and in most online polls people say they won't purchase the movie for that price). It is also interesting that Disney will still release MULAN in cinemas over in China, where it might even flop since the movie there is seen as a cheap version of their masterfully done epic adventures, which is obvious even from the trailer
Yoson An and Yifei Liu are the leads in the film
below. Thousands of Chinese movie lovers have even ridiculed the posters on their internet calling them outdated and cheap. Meanwhile, over in USA some
Donnie Yen is the commander, Jet Li is the emperor of China
members of the cancel culture are boycotting the film because the lead actress Yifei Liu supported the politics of her native country China. So, will MULAN
Niki Caro directed the new live action movie
be a success for Disney or a massive flop, it remains to be seen next month.

     The Story Of Mulan
When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honoured warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honoured warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation and a proud father.

Who Stars In Mulan?
The movie, directed by Niki Caro, stars Yifei Liu as Mulan, Donnie Yen as Commander Tung, Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan, and Yoson An as
Gong Li and Jason Scott Lee also star in the film
Cheng Honghui, with Gong Li as Xianniang and Jet Li as the Emperor. Christina Aguilera has released, last week, the lead song for the movie.

  1. I know that cinemas are hurting, but to chop up a banner with an axe is a bit much.. Personally, I don't think that movie theaters are going to make it through this. They haven't even been opened in NY yet. The price to see a movie in the theater has become astronomical. Before COVID, it was >$20 a person to go to the movie theaters. I don't think many of us will be able to afford that for a while.

    1. A guy who feeds his family through the cinema they own did that, he is desperate as he will be forced to close his business and be without means to feed his kids. If some cinema chains are falling apart, imagine how it is for private cinema owners. And for Mulan you will have to pay $30 plus the montly Disney + fee.

    2. Wow!! That's so high!! We don't really have privately owned cinemas here. They are all big chains. Don't even tell me that.. people are starving. It's so very sad. It makes you wonder what's worse, a starving nation or running the risk of contracting corona.

    3. You probably have them in small towns and places where they have no chains. Small, family owned cinemas for a small number of viewers, I guess.

  2. We have a small locally owned theater where the movie tickets are $2 if you go in before noon. I am so worried they aren’t going to survive this pandemic. I would not pay $30 freaking dollars in addition to the subscription fee. Disney is off their rocker. I hope this fails.

    1. Pinocchio is currently saving cinemas here in Europe instead of Mulan, if Hollywood studios keep effing with the cinemas, theatres will simply turn to European movies which is good as they are usually much better as there are heaps of them in Spain, France, Russia, Asia... Why wouldn't people go to watch their massive blockbusters instead of the Hollywood crap. I also hope Mulan will flop embarrassingly, but there are a lot of stupid sheep who will flock to have their fleece cut by Disney.
