'OUT STEALING HORSES'
A DREAMLIKE RETURN TO PAST
Norway's last year representative at the Oscars, visually mesmerizing period set drama OUT STEALING HORSES will be available on VOD from August 7th in USA. The story, based on a book by Per Petterson, starts in
November 1999: 67 year old Trond (Stellan Skarsgård), lives in self imposed isolation and looks forward to welcoming in the new millennium alone. As winter arrives he meets one of his few neighbours, Lars (Bjørn Floberg), and realizes he knew him back in the summer of 1948. 1948 - the year Trond turned 15. The summer Trond grew up, the summer Trond's father (Tobias Santelmann) prepared him to carry the burden of his forthcoming betrayal and disappearance. And also the summer Trond grew up and smelled the scent of a woman (Danica Curcic) he longed for. The same woman Trond's father was preparing to spend his life with.

DeleteDid I read that write? Father and Son are after the same woman? That sounds like trouble..but good for our viewing pleasure. LOL
