And another delightful gay movie for you today as well after those two from yesterday: Israeli movie

Eytan Fox. It sees Tonny award winner
John Benjamin Hickey playing

Niv Nissim, in his debut performance) brings him back to life. They are from different generations and have had very different lives, but have so much to share with
|
The movie contains delightful male nudity and sex |
each other.
Sublet already had its premiere at The Tribeca Film Festival 2020. The film celebrates the freedoms that we had before covid and that we miss today: to travel, explore, make connections and get a new take on the world!
I love John Benjamin Hickey. He was hilarious as the gay bipolar brother in that miniseries of a few years ago, "The Big C." I'll watch for this movie!
ReplyDeleteHe is so adorable, especially with these cute glasses, fully irresistible!
DeleteJade City probably isn't for me, but I do think Sublet looks delightful.
ReplyDeleteGay films are often so nice and cute, I've watched Argentinian film THE BLONDE ONE this year and it was one of the most beautiful little films I've seen in my life, just raw emotion and characters unveiled and naked in their simple humanity and search for love.
DeleteI'll have to see if that one is available here. If you enjoyed it that much, I probably will too.
DeleteIt is indescribably beautiful in its natural mellowness and slow, but meaningful dynamics. I loved it almost as much as God's Own Country which is the best gay themed film ever.
DeleteSublet looks cool ❤
ReplyDeleteWe love films about love!
DeleteNeither Jade City nor Sublet ... I like both of them. And I will watch. I don't feel uncomfortable watching gay movies because I really respect the privacy and nature of someone who was born that way.
ReplyDeleteLove is always love!
DeleteSublet looks like fine!! It scares me when you say freedoms pre-covid. We have to be set free soon, right?! :( How are you guys doing with your numbers?
ReplyDeleteNumbers are still high, but we are more freaking out about our dictator of a president who is effing us blind on a daily basis than about covid. The school starts September and parents are freaking about that too.
