Vikings' Peter Franzen has joined the cast
I'm not sure how deep it is into production, but Amazon's epic TV series adaptation of Robert Jordan's saga THE WHEEL OF TIME has just added new names to the cast: Peter Franzen will be Stepin, Sophie Okonedo will be legendary Amyrlin Seat Siuan Sanche, Kae Alexander will be fan favorite Min Farshaw, Kate Fleetwood will be Liandrin Guirale, Clare Perkins will be Kerene Nagashi. Set in a sprawling, epic world where magic exists and only certain women are allowed to access it, the story follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

  1. Im sitting here cracking up. I’m reading your post and in the middle is an ad. It’s a picture of a man in a thong with a razor that says “Get Manscaped”. Directly under it is the animated horse looking above like “what is going on up there?!”. I do love the graphics of the horse in the trailer. Looks so real!

    1. I'm absolutely smitten, cannot wait for the whole trailer, hope it will get international distribution to save falling European cinemas. It is their most expensive film this year, methinks, wildly lavish, cannot wait to see the lands of the Snow Queen and more of the Firebird!

  3. I'll have to torrent it if it doesn't air here.

    1. Fingers crossed we find English subs. I was searching for that German film Narcissus und Goldmund and it is still nowhere to be found especially not with English subs.

  4. Even without the subs, it still looks delightful. I'd watch it even if I couldn't understand a word of what they are saying.

    1. It is ever so cute :) We will probably get English subs over at Yifi, they often release Russian films there, I've recently downloaded KOMA from there.
