It seems to be a very nice movie! I wanna watch it! :D
ReplyDeleteHope it arrives to cinemas one day or streaming services!
DeleteHenry Golding is literally everywhere right now. I've watched him in The Gentlemen (2020) yesterday. Well, skipped most through it. Not my cup of tea. But this... This IS. When is it out (cinematic/BluRay)? Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteIt does not have a release date, only that it was supposed to be out in UK in May, but I don't think that is still on. I was shocked to discover that role in Rich Asians was his first role ever. I thought he had a career before that one as well.
DeleteShame there is no release date! I'm not going to watch the trailer, don't want to spoil anything. Didn't know that. He really went big over night, huh? Good for him.
DeleteTotally over night! Glad his career wasn't a one night stand, though, LOL
DeleteWell, this is definitely on my "to see" list now and not just because of its gay theme. I remember the terrible plight of the Vietnamese Boat People in the 1970s. Canada accepted many of them as refugees at the time. They have benefited and enhanced our country ever since.
ReplyDeleteLovely to hear they've found a nice new home in Canada. I'd give home to Henry Golding any time :)
DeleteI do a lot of reading of war time novels, but never anything about the Vietnam War. Truth be told, I don’t know much about it either. I’d watch it for the history lesson and to see that handsome man. There’s nothing more swoon worthy than a man with a nice smile!
ReplyDeleteHe has that type of elegant calm refined beauty which is highly irresistible.
DeleteThis looks sooo good. I do hope we get a release date soon. Plus, Henry Golding is my latest crush. Such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteHe was the only good thing in Last Christmas. To this very date I don't understand the ending of that one.
DeleteHell, I forgot about that one! I did want to see it, but now I'm feeling a little sad it didn't get a good Dezzy rating :(
DeleteIt's not bad, just a deeply bizarre ending which I don't fully understand even today. I generally don't like Emilia Clarke, I think she's fake as Jennifer Lawrence and plus her character in the film is an annoying idiot, Henry is the saving grace of that one. What surprised me is that it did not really have lot of Wham! music in it.
DeleteI haven't seen Emilia in anything other than Me Before You. I liked her well enough in that one. I suppose I'll have to reserve judgement for her until I've seen her in a few more things.
DeleteNot a lot of Wham! music? WTF!?
You should watch clips of her at Graham Norton show at YouTube (you should like his page at Facebook page too as it will give you beautiful daily clips with stars in his shows, and he always has the best of shows), fake as fake gets, faking cuteness and such things.
DeleteThis one, I can't wait to watch. I like Henry Golding and I like the premise where the character traces his roots and he re-connects with his parents' past.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is very likely it will play in your cinemas... at least when they open again.... hopefully... Probably not before Autumn, though... if we're optimistic...
