Check out the trailer below and tell us what you think, we think it emits The Mummy and Jewel of the Nile type of super thrilling adventure vibes!
I'm really excited for this one!! While I can't hear on this computer, the trailer does look fabulous. Emily Blunt is one of my favorites and so is The Rock. The only time I was ever disappointed in him was his insulting version of a NY accent. hahaha
ReplyDeleteShe has an exquisitely posh British accent in it.
DeleteSuch a powerhouse team, these two. I can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteI did read that one of the boats on the Jungle Cruise just sank. Not a big deal, since it's like 3 feet of water, but still. That's quite the story for the guests who had to be rescued. Guess they were in their own real life Jungle Cruise movie adventure LOL!
I heard it too, but I'm guessing they have no visitors right now thanks to corona virus.
DeleteWe're going in May. I'm contemplating cancelling because of the virus, but then my hubby said the magic words "No lines..." hahaha
DeleteBet everyone will be thinking that.
DeleteI'm one of the immunocompromised that does need to worry about the virus, but even I'm almost tempted to buy those $200 round trip Hawaii tickets. If I'm gonna die, at least I'm gonna do it on vacation in a gorgeous tropical location LOL. You can die in the Happiest Place on Earth ;)
DeleteIf I could choose like that I'd love to die in Henry Cavill's arms. We will probably all die here as our government is the stupidest one in the world. They haven't even closed schools even though we have 20 plus ill now. We don't even have masks nor sanitary gels in the shops, not to mention hospitals and schools don't even have regular washing soaps and paper towels and never did. I was at Aldi today doing some apocalypse shopping and I saw and old croon wiping her fugly nose and then touching the cart with the hand. We is doomed we is all gonna die LOL Pray Lord let me die with Henry or Chris Evans in my bed. Or any available hunk to that matter.
DeleteNow that would be a lovely way to go! Our stores have actually always been good about having sanitizing wipes next to the shopping carts and the dr. and hospitals usually have the face masks. I know some of the major cities are out of the hand gels as Jason's boss lives in Florida and was complaining that they have been sold out for weeks. I haven't really paid attention, as people like me that have weakened immune systems always have a large supply of those things on hand anyways, even when there's not a pandemic. Jason did buy the last 22 cans of Lysol sanitizing spray to pass out to his employees yesterday so they could have some at home. Mariah's college switched to online courses for the time being, but Allison is still business as usual. We did have a confirmed case in the area, so I'm not sure why they haven't shut her school down, even though they have the capabilities for online e-learning days where no work will be missed. It's just stupid not to close on their part right now.
DeleteIt is stupid indeed, they are like - kids rarely get ill from it, yes, but they are the least clean beings and can carry it home to their parents and grandparents, freaking hell. It is just irresponsible. They did close most of the smaller border passes here, but I don't know how that helps as they don't really ask anyone at the crossing if they've been to Italy or not. I need to do more apocalypse shopping on Saturday and next week, especially smuggled goods from Hungary in case they close borders fully. But we survived so many wars, embargos, bombings and natural disasters here without any help from the government, I'm guessing we will survive this one too with or without gels and masks.
DeleteLooks like fun - shades of The African Queen but up the Amazon? Blunt and Johnson the new Hepburn and Bogart?
ReplyDeleteThey'll hardly match up to Hepburn and Bogart LOL
DeleteIts gotta be good with Emily Blunt in it....hasn't it?
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely.
