ELIZABETH HURLEY TO LEAD NEW CBS SITCOM, THOMAS MIDDLEDITCH TO LEAD B POSITIVE, AIMEE CARRERO, RYAN HANSEN TOPLINE SOMEONE OUT THERE, KYRA SEDGWICK LEADS MY VILLAGE

NEW SITCOM PILOTS 2020
 ELIZABETH HURLEY CAST AT CBS
Elizabeth Hurley will be fun loving mom
When it comes to the pilot status over at CBS, they've just cast Elizabeth Hurley and Hannah Simone in an untitled multicam sitcom about a daughter and her mom. When Penelope’s (Simone) career takes off at exactly the same time as her husband’s, they call on Penelope’s young single mom, Georgia (Hurley), to help raise their son, but what they find is Georgia needs more raising than their kid.

B Positive at CBS
CBS has also found leads for another of their multicamera comedy pilots B POSITIVE in which Thomas Middleditch will play Drew, a newly divorced dad faced with finding a kidney donor and who is at the end of his rope when he runs into Gina (Annaleigh Ashford),

 a rough-around-the edges woman from his past who volunteers her own. Together they form an unlikely bond and begin a journey that will change both of their lives. Kether Donohue and Sara Rue will also star.
Someone Out There At NBC
Aimee Carrero will star in new sitcom
Rival NBC has hired Young and Hungry star Aimee Carrero to topline romantic sitcom SOMEONE OUT THERE together with Ryan Hansen. Also starring Neil Casey, the half hour romantic comedy is about two set-in-their-ways adults, film composer Derek (Hansen) and bridal shop owner Chloe (Carrero), who are challenged by very unexpected strangers to become the best versions of themselves in order to find love and possibly each other.

My Village At ABC
ABC has meanwhile cast Kyra Sedgwick as lead in their multicam sitcom MY VILLAGE  about an empty nester mom, Jean Raines (Sedgwick), who wonders how she ended up alone while her children live their best lives thousands of miles away. She decides her place is with her family
Ryan Hansen will play the male lead in Someone Out There
and as she reinserts herself into their lives, her kids realize they might actually need her more than they thought. Rachel Sennott, Joey Bragg, Emma Caymares and Austin Crute will also star.

  1. The first sitcom sounds entertaining and like something I can relate to. Aren't things funnier when you can relate to them?

  2. Yay! So glad Hurley is back on the screen since they took my guilty pleasure of The Royals off the air.

    You always did say Aimee Carrero needed her own show, so lovely to hear she got ibe. She did have to much charisma on Uoung and Hungry!

    1. I think she will be good in a sitcom and gorgeous too, like Fran in Indebted.
      The only sadness is that Aimee's new sitcom will be single camera :( and NBC is the biggest graveyard for sitcoms, sadly, CBS is the place to be when you have a good comedy.
