Man, Bryan Brown has been around forever.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny because he's always been old ever since I knew him LOL
DeleteI don't think I'd like to keep cheating death. I think there has to come a point when one stops drinking from the fountain of youth because they are just tired from all the bullshit this world has to offer.
ReplyDeleteRay gives Gwen the berry because she is in the hospice totally senseless, amnesiac, probably suffers from Parkinson or something, but after eating the berry she becomes that brunette above that dances in the disco. My fave storyline was the local priest who eats the berry becomes young again (Jacob Collins Levy) and then goes to find his old lover (Angus MacLaren) with whom he served in Vietnam and they have jolly good gay sex when he eats a berry too. They are such a beautiful match in the series. I also adored Sam Reid in it but he's always been my lurv.
DeleteSo that's where Phoebe Tonkin went! I'm a big CW fan so this is something that I would definitely dive into. If only these berries were real..I wouldn't mind regaining youth and starting over as long as I was able to do it with the people that I care about.
ReplyDeleteThey do have side effects, you will have to watch the show to see which ones. The show actually has the most delightful opening - Ryan Corr runs nekkid through the streets and for about first 15 minutes of the first episode you can enjoy the muscles in his tight bum tightening and moving while he runs LOL It's positively droolworthy.
DeleteCount me in!! Maybe it's a good quarantine binge watch. LOL
DeleteTotally!
