NEW 'THE GREAT' TRAILER
POKES FUN WITH THE EMPRESS
And our suggestion for today on what to watch during the corona virus quarantine (which might easily last till the end of summer) is

her mark in history, 'all' she had to do was kill her husband, beat the church, baffle the military, and get the court onside. The ten episode series also stars our dearest
Gwilym Lee from
Jamestown and
Sebastian de Souza from
Medici!
Is that all she had to do to leave her mark? Cake walk! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt does look rather funny. Will surely give us some much needed comedic relief.
I'm on the fence with it. I generally don't find historical times like that funny, but I do love Hoult a lot. And Gwilym is my Ozzie lurv.
DeleteThis looks like fun! Too bad I don't get Hulu.
ReplyDeleteYou don't seem to get anything, Debs, the same as me LOL
DeleteNow you're pushing it until the end of the Summer?? Ugh, say it isn't so..
ReplyDeleteSounds like she really had to do a lot to make her mark.. was her marriage that bad that she succumbed to murder?
Her marriage was probably the prime example of a truly horrid marital union LOL He once brought an ugly fat peasant girl, whom he made his public lover, to a ball and gave her one of Catherine's crowns to wear in front of everyone.
DeleteOMG!!! That's grounds for castration...
DeleteSee, that's why she killed him... allegedly...
DeleteThank you and be welcome.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
ReplyDeleteI have heard about that Fanning/Hoult project, now that I see what it is, I doubt I'll watch it.
ReplyDeleteYes, we did not expect it would be a silly comedy, sadly :(
