HEAT SERIES TRAILER
AND AIR DATE AT CHANNEL 5
Channel 5 has released first trailer and air date for their new four part mini series HEAT which should air on the British broadcaster from July11th to July 14th every night with Danny Dyer in the lead role (his first after leaving EastEnders)
in the story about two families as they go to a secluded home for a
vacation. Secrets and lies unravel, and not everyone will make it out
alive! Darren McMullen, Jane Alsop, Richie Morris and Hunter Hayden also star. The series was shot Down Under as the story is set during the Australian bushfire season. It will also air on Network 10 in Australia.
WHAT'S THE SERIES ABOUT?
Set in Australia on the brink of bushfire season, the four-part nail
biting and suspenseful thriller series sees two families take a summer
holiday together at a secluded home in the countryside, which is
intended to offer everyone a chance to bond and unwind.
However, secrets and lies are exposed on the trip that render the
atmosphere hostile, with the smell of ominous end in the air: not
everyone will make it out alive.
A vacation is never simply a vacation in any film..LOL..Secrets, lies and death...sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteThat is what they get for going vacaying in the middle of the bushfire season!
DeletePlaying with fire is dangerous! You may have heard about the Canadian fires. When I went to Iowa to visit my mom, a smoky haze covered the area. Iowa is a long way from Canada!
ReplyDeleteI have, it sounds terrible. I was just watching Walking Dead: the World Beyond series where they have Blaze of Gory, an area covered with old car tires which are on fire and can burn for hundreds of years in the zombie apocalyptic world where there is no one to extinguish it.
DeleteSounds like they are not the brightest of the berries to travel during the bushfire season. Just nature weeding out the idiots. I do remember you posting about this one awhile back and was actually thinking about it the other day. The trailer was just ehhh for me, but I'll still watch it.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a series that Channel 5 had a few summers ago WEEKEND or something like it, but three families went to Greece then and got surrounded by fire too. It is nice watching summer series in the summer, I feel most channel do not respect that these days. In my county we used to have mini series marathons every evening during summers with series airing episodes each night within a week, it was such an event.
DeleteI've noticed that too. I've even seen Christmas movies released in late summer. Like, hello. It's still summer! Another thing from our past that was taken away, sadly.
DeleteHallmark has Christmas month in June actually LOOOL Totally weird.
