CHANNEL 4'S THE GATHERING MINI SERIES CASTS RICHARD COYLE, WARREN BROWN! MOTHER, COUCH COMEDY WITH EWAN MCGREGOR, ELLEN BURSTYN TO PREMIERE AT SAN SEBASTIAN

UNVEILS CAST AT CHANNEL 4
Channel 4 has revealed lead cast for their new mini series THE GATHERING about the violent attack on a teenage girl in a tidal islet. Set on Merseyside and interrogating the ways in which today’s parents impose their agendas, the drama focuses on a group of teens from disparate backgrounds, each of whom could have committed the crime, along with their parents – who give equal cause for suspicion. Vinette Robinson will play pushy mother Natalie with Eva Morgan and Sadie Soverall as leads, Kelly and Jessica. Warren Brown is Kelly’s hard working single parent Paul, and Richard Coyle is successful solicitor Jules! Sonny Walker, Luca Kamleh- Chapman and Hebron Tedros also star.

MOTHER COUCH COMPETING AT SAN SEBASTIAN FILM FESTIVAL
After Venice, Toronto and Locarno, San Sebastian movie festival has also unveiled part of its line up and set to premiere and compete there this September is Swedish Danish co production MOTHER, COUCH! from a debut feature filmmaker Niclas Larsson which follows three estranged children who are brought together when their mother refuses to move from a couch in a furniture store! With Ewan McGregor as lead, the cast also includes Ellen Burstyn and Taylor Russell.

  1. I have watched some films and series played by Ewan McGregor. Ghost Writer is probably one of my favourites from him.

    1. I do not remember that one, but he is one of my faves definitely. He is, though, pissing me off a bit these days with nepotism, both him, Jude and Winslet. They are all pushing their brats onto us.

  4. I'm always amazed when actors/actresses are still working in their 90's. Probably an easy role for her if she can just sit on a couch and act from there, though LOL
