BERNADETTE TRAILER
WITH CATHERINE DENEUVE AS WIFE OF FRENCH PRESIDENT
The first trailer and poster have been released for French comedy movie BERNADETTE which will arrive to cinemas October 4th with French star Catherine Deneuve playing Bernadette, the wife of one of their most
famous presidents Jacques Chirac.
Bernadette is out this October |
When she arrives at the Elysée, Bernadette Chirac expects to finally get
the place she deserves, she who has always worked in the shadow of her
husband for him to become president. Pushed aside by everyone because
she is considered too old-fashioned (even Karl Lagerfeld has something
to say about her look in the trailer below), Bernadette then decides to
take her revenge by becoming an essential media figure. Michel
Vuillermoz plays Chirac himself in the movie directed by Lea Domenach.
Trailer is not available.
ReplyDeleteIt is not, it plays, must be a temporary glitch at your side of the line, try again.
DeleteIt says the uploader has not made the video available in my country. But I'm not sure this would be my kind of movie anyway. Not that I watch a lot of movies or TV anyway.
ReplyDeleteI did put another video from another uploader, maybe this one is not geoblocked for you.
DeleteTrailer isn't available in our country it says. Too bad. I do love the bright purple poster. Karl Lagerfeld isn't one to talk on someone's looks.
ReplyDeleteI have added another one, maybe this one will be visible in the US of A? I can see all of them here in Europe.
DeleteYes, that one worked!
DeleteI am so glad!
DeleteCatherine Deneuve has managed to maintain a career by ability and therefore did not fade away when she wasn't in the first flush of youth anymore. I wonder if her sister Francoise Dorleac would have had longevity in her acting career if she hadn't died young.
ReplyDeleteI think it was more her gorgeous looks than ability because she is not the most expressive of actors, always has the same face and bland expression, kinda like Helen Mirren over in UK. She was also a fashion icon which helps a lot, something today's actresses do not have, especially the youngest ones.
