1ST THE KILLING KIND
TRAILER WITH COLIN MORGAN
Paramount Plus has released first trailer from their new series THE KILLING KIND with Colin Morgan and Emma Appleton. Based on Jane Casey's
novel the series stars Appleton as Ingrid Lewis, a barrister who gets
too close to her client John Webster (Morgan) and finds that he's determined
to implode her world when she tries to move on with her life. The drama
will follow Ingrid as she deals with John's obsession and tries to
rebuild her life, although when her mentor and friend dies, John makes
an unexpected appearance and a sensational claim. Locked in a game of
cat and mouse
and fuelled by an obsession to find out the truth, Ingrid finds her
world threatening to unravel once more! The cast also includes Elliot Barnes-Worrell as Ingrid's ex-fiancé Mark, Kerr Logan as DS Luke Nash, Sara Powell as Ingrid's mentor Belinda Grey and Nicholas Rowe as Belinda's husband Angus Grey. The series is coming soon to the streamer.
What a pity that it's not on Netflix! Colin Morgan and Emma Appleton make a lovely screen couple.
ReplyDeleteIt is not, not everything can be on Netflix. Paramount is getting quite strong, though.
DeleteDitto, and the fact that it is not in Netflix is a plus. Not my cup of tea, but Paramount has been making real good stuff lately, and very varied. I liked 1883, and fell totally in love with The Offer.
DeleteWhat is The Offer?
DeleteIn summary doen't sound like much. it's the genesis of The Godfather from the moment Mario Puzo sat down to write the novel, to Oscar night. It has everything: action, palace intrigues, power truggle , larger than life characters.
DeleteOh, not for me if it is about celebrating mobsters.
DeleteParamount is definitely the streamer everyone seems to be ditching Netflix for. The Killing Kind looks so suspenseful!
ReplyDeleteShould be interesting, I do love me Colin Morgan, not as a villain, though.
