  HEAT SERIES TRAILER
AND 1ST PICS FROM CHANNEL 5
Channel 5 has released first teaser and images from their new four part mini series HEAT which should arrive to the British broadcaster sometime later this year with Danny Dyer in the lead role (his first after leaving EastEnders) in the story about two families as they go to a secluded home for a vacation. Secrets and lies unravel, and not everyone will make it out alive! Darren McMullen, Jane Alsop, Richie Morris and Hunter Hayden also star. The series was shot Down Under as the story is set during the Australian bushfire season. It will also air on Network 10 in Australia.
 WHAT'S THE SERIES ABOUT?
Set in Australia on the brink of bushfire season, the four-part nail biting and suspenseful thriller series sees two families take a summer holiday together at a secluded home in the countryside, which is intended to offer everyone a chance to bond and unwind. However, secrets and lies are exposed on the trip that render the atmosphere hostile, with the smell of ominous end in the air: not everyone will make it out alive.

    1. It sounds very similar to their last year vacation series THE HOLIDAY.

  2. I have a rule to not vacation with other families. Who needs that kind of drama when you just want to relax. Too many butts in the kitchen cause problems. Now look. Poor man in the trailer lost his wife because he thought he'd bring some friends along for the ride.

    1. Family vacay stories seem to be a trend for British channels, we had Holiday series two years ago and Crossfire last summer with Keeley Hawes. It is always some of your friends shagging your husband or some similar plot. Or your teen kids having summer sex with each other.

  3. The Brits do like their holidays. I wish Americans would learn to appreciate more vacations and less work schedules, but corporate greed will always rule here.

    1. Our people live for their seven days in Monte Negro or Greece, even if they have nothing to eat the rest of the year, they will spend a week down there. Bet it will be different now, though, that the prices have went up 100%.
