SANDITON SERIES
THE FINAL SEASON IS HERE
Sanditon returns and ends March 19th |
IN THE CONCLUDING CHAPTER
An
eager fiancé in tow, Charlotte returns to a now thriving Sanditon. It’s
Georgiana’s 21st birthday, and while a lavish party awaits, an awkward
reunion with Colbourne raises old feelings and new questions. It’s not
all celebration for Georgiana, who is called on to meet a startling new
challenge, but finds support from unlikely sources. Through it all,
Charlotte and Georgiana bond over their dilemmas, as well as their
resolve to forge their own destinies.
In Sanditon Season 3, your invitation awaits for more grand parties,
lovely friendships that stand the test of time and circumstances. But
many surprises await on Sanditon’s shores — astonishing new alliances,
ghosts from the past, and all the complications of love and life.
WHO WILL VISIT SANDITON?
The seaside resort of Sanditon boasts some familiar faces in Season 3 including Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams), heiress Georgiana Lambe (Crystal Clarke), Heywood’s fiancé Ralph Starling (Cal Brigden), and the mysterious Alexander Colbourne (Ben Lloyd-Hughes). Also back are Colbourne’s tomboyish young daughter, Leonora (Flora Mitchell), and his rebellious niece, Augusta (Eloise Webb), who falls for a questionable admirer.
The tireless Parker family returns — Tom (Kris Marshall), wife Mary (Kate Ashfield) and brother Arthur (Turlough Convery) — as well as the town’s resident financier Lady Denham (Anne Reid) and Edward (Jack Fox), her double-dealing nephew. Lady Susan (Sophie Winkleman) also makes ahigh-society return to Sanditon.
New visitors bring new and intriguing romantic possibilities. Lady Montrose (Emma Fielding) is determined to snare matches for her grown children: Lydia (Alice Orr-Ewing) and Lord Henry Montrose (Edward Davis). Rowleigh Pryce, (James Bolam) a crusty investor, shares an intriguing past with a Sanditon resident, and Samuel Colbourne, (Liam Garrigan) is a London attorney and eligible bachelor.
I only know Kris Marshal from Death in Paradise...interesting to see him dressed like that...
ReplyDeleteHe is very posh here, but still a very clumsy character.
DeleteI supposed this will be on my list to start watching next since it's in its final season. Then I'll move back to Last Kingdom since that one will take me longer to get through.
ReplyDeleteThe second season was better than the first one, but they ditched most of the nicest hunks in season three, so I'm not looking forward to it at all.
