The Magician's Elephant looks lovely. You know I love a cute animated film and elephants, so thanks for putting this one on my radar.
ReplyDeleteDon't miss it next month! I still haven't seen Sea Beast as they pissed me off when they replaced the original little boy with a black girl in it.
DeleteI haven't sat down and watched that one yet either, but I will probably this spring when the nephews are here. Saving up all of the animated films for their visit.
DeleteI've noticed that I don't have any more patience for animated movies, sadly, probably because they tend to be boring even for adults.
DeleteSadly, many of them are getting very boring. Or too preachy. The last one that I really enjoyed was Luca. Though I keep chugging away hoping to find more diamonds in the rough these days.
DeleteYes, Luca kept my attention as well, although I did want a bigger emphasis on their love, but they are kids, so I understand the toned down version. Frozen II also kept my attention unlike the first part, and also Raya and the Last Dragon was nice and dynamic. Others have too many philosophical parts and drawn out scenes not suitable for kids' attention span nor mine LOL On the other hand, two weeks ago I watched The Princess of Monpensier French movie and it kept my attention without making me fall asleep even though it is two hours and ten minutes long.
