HENRY CAVILL'S NEW FILM
ADS HENRY GOLDING, ALEX PETTYFER, TIL SCHWEIGER
As if having Henry Cavill in the lead role wasn't enough of a hunk factor for Guy Richie's THE MINISTRY OF UNGENTLEMANLY WARFARE, they have now added a bunch of new major hunks: Alex Pettyfer, Til Schweiger, Cary Elwes, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Alan Ritchson and Henry Zaga. The true story covers Winston Churchill’s and Ian Fleming’s secret WWII combat organization. The clandestine squad’s unconventional and ‘ungentlemanly’ fighting techniques against the Nazis helped change the course of the war and gave birth to the modern Black Ops unit.

NEW MOZART ADAPTATION
The movie should arrive this March |
This captivating film follows a teen on two journeys: one into a
prestigious boarding school to fulfill his aspirations as a singer, and
another into a parallel world filled with fantasy and adventure. Tim
(Jack Wolfe) has
been dreaming his whole life about attending Mozart All
Boys Music School, but already his first days there confront him with a
hostile headmaster (F. Murray Abraham), the stresses of a first love,
and serious doubts about the authenticity of his singing voice. When he
discovers a mystical gateway in the school's library, he is pulled into
the fantastic cosmos of Mozart's opera, The Magic Flute, where
imagination has no limits and the Queen of the Night (Sabine Devieilhe)
reigns. Iwan Rheon plays famous Papageno, with Jeanne Goursaud from
Barbarians epic TV series also in the cast. Check out the lovely new trailer below and tell us what you think:

MUNCH could be interesting, but definitely not classic music....I would probably fall into sleep.
ReplyDeleteThere was literally no classic music in that trailer above, I was actually disappointed with the lack of music in it, there is just some usual bombastic and generic trailer music towards the end.
Deleteo many great period movies, but no series looming in near or far future. In February we are only getting two, one in Netflix and one in Amazon.
ReplyDeleteOnly Lidia Poet, Django and the second season of Portofino.
DeleteHere in the USA only Lidia Poet in Netflix, Joaquin Murieta in Amazon and something odd. Sisi was in Disney and now it is in Walter Presents in PBS Masterpiece.
DeleteThanks for letting us know about Murietta series, never heard of it before. Hope Fanny will find Sisi second season for us soon, I cannot find it on Torrents.
DeleteThe Magic Flute sounds pretty cool. I don't recall a dragon creature in the opera, but admittedly, I don't know the story line all that well. I know the music more, since I've played it. If I have some time, I'll have to check it out when it's released.
ReplyDeleteOne of my cats was called Tamino (with his siblings Toska and Turandot) after prince Tamino from The Magic Flute :)
DeleteThe Magic Flute looks lovely. Then again, anything that combines beautiful music and a British accent always draws me in.
ReplyDeleteUm, I have a feeling the real special forces didn’t have that many hunky men on the squad. Or maybe they did and they just made the enemy turn to a pile of mush with their good looking selves. I know I’d give up all of my secrets if they came for me lol
It was also the case with SAS Rogue Heroes, like all of them were hot as sweet hell and had perfect hairdos even in the middle of a desert!
