UPCOMING MOVIE PROJECTS
SAMARA WEAVING'S AZRAEL
We are in that part of the year when movie markets are looming ahead of us, so I have a slate of new projects that will be offered to buyers in Berlin, Cannes
and other markets this year. Director E.L.Katz has Samara Weaving in his movie AZRAEL, set in a world in which no one speaks, where a devout female-led community hunts down a young woman who has escaped her imprisonment.

LAST SENTINEL
Vertical has already bought rights to this sf movie set in the near future, where unchecked and rampant climate change has caused temperatures and sea levels to rise catastrophically. Only two large continents remain, and billions die during the mass migration to these higher lands.
Surrounded by an endless ocean thousands of miles from home, a skeleton crew of soldiers (Kate Bosworth, Lucien Laviscount, Martin McCann and Thomas Kretschmann) stand as the last bastion, defending their homeland from an invasion by an enemy they have never seen, monitoring for signs of attack and prepared to sacrifice themselves for the cause. Their tour of duty ended 3 months ago with no relief in sight. Alone and uncertain as to what fate awaits them, the simmering tension amongst the crew escalates when a mysterious boat drifts into range – is it the help they have been waiting for, or something far more sinister? Oscar nominee Tanel Toom helms.

Azrael sounds quite an interesting one. Samara Weaving looks really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteShe is gorgeous and very versatile as an actress, was really convincing as superficial influencer in Nine Perfect Strangers.
DeleteSo Last Sentinel and Azrael sound interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of Last Sentinel myself, love me apocalypse in isolated spaces.
DeleteAZRAEL sounds like a fantasy film. I mean a female led community where nobody speaks. Um.. with women? Ahahahaha. I can testify, that would never happen. Women don't know how to stop talking! Well, I guess they could have all been born mute.
ReplyDeleteIt is especially terrible when, beside the inability to close their blabbertraps, they were born with a terrible voice too! You know, the annoying ones, that grate on your nerves...
DeleteIndeed, I do. Ariana Grande is one of the ones that has a voice that grates my nerves. Lizzo, too.
DeleteAnd Britney. They used her voice to torture Iraqi prisoners in your secret jails.
DeleteHaha, I wouldn't doubt it. I honestly don't know how she rose to such fame. I've listened to her when she collaborated with Beyonce and Pink for Pepsi, then with Rhianna, and whoever is behind her management and marketing should have been fired pairing her with ladies that have powerful vocals. I'm not saying their music with worthwhile, but it's undeniable how weak Brittney's vocals are when singing next to them.
DeleteShe is a trainwreck in every possible way, I am surprised actually she is still alive. And she is so vile towards her sons, cannot stand the immature idiot.
