THIS NEW SERIES TELLS

the love story of Frederick Trenchard (Ben Wainwright), who has grown up as the third Lord Trenchard, and his new love interest, Clara Dunn (Harriet Slater), who is a newcomer to London society. Unaware that his birth was the product of an affair between his mother Susan and the scoundrel John Bellasis, a troubled childhood has left Frederick deeply insecure, which challenges his courtship of and marriage to Clara. Edward Bluemel plays Dr. Stephen Ellerby, Toby Regbo is Rev. James Trenchard, Frederick’s estranged brother. Hannah Onslow is Emily Dunn, Clara’s older sister who is attracted to the reverend. Sophie Thompson is Mrs. Dunn, Emily and Clara’s devoted mother. Claude Perron is The Marquise D’Étagnac, a glamorous and highly unconventional French businesswoman, who is introduced to Belgravia by the Duke and Duchess of Rochester (Sophie Winkleman)!

MGM Plus has released today first images and also the first trailer for BELGRAVIA: THE NEXT CHAPTER the sequel to Julian Fellowes unsuccessful small screen adaptation of his own book which now gets new characters and is poised to air January 14th three years after the original series. Set 25 years after the original story, in 1871, it revolves around the third Lord Trenchard as he falls in love with a newcomer to London society.

Daily Mail has revealed a first look at Sophie Winkleman at the set of BELGRAVIA: THE NEXT CHAPTER series, a sequel to Julian Fellowes 19th century costume drama. Ben Wainwright also features in the photos. She plays lady Rochester in the MGM Plus series set 25 years on from where the last one left off and telling an entirely new story. In real life, Sophie is daughter in law to prince Michael of Kent.

FOR NEW 19TH CENTURY DRAMA

Ahead of the world premiere at the scandalous Cannes Film Festival, a trailer and poster have been released for Marco Bellochio's historical movieKIDNAPPED (Rapito), an Italian drama about a Jewish boy

The movie is out next week in Italia

kidnapped and converted to Catholicism. The film opens in 1858 in the Jewish quarter of Bologna, where the Pope’s soldiers burst into the home of the Mortara family. By order of the cardinal, they have come to take Edgardo, their seven-year-old son. The child had been secretly baptized by his nurse as a baby and the papal law is unquestionable: he must receive a Catholic education. Edgardo’s parents, distraught, will do anything to get their son back. Supported by public opinion and the international Jewish community, the Mortaras’ struggle quickly takes a political dimension. But the Church and the Pope will not agree to return the child, to consolidate an increasingly wavering power. Starring Paolo Pierobon, Fausto Russo Alesi, Barbara Ronchi, Enea Sala and Leonardo Maltese, it will be released in Italy May 25th, and in France in November.

The stage is set for the last farewell and goodbye in the final season of SANDITON costume drama based on the unfinished book by Jane Austen! Who will get their happily-ever-after? WHO WILL VISIT SANDITON?

The seaside resort of Sanditon boasts some familiar faces in Season 3 including Charlotte Heywood (Rose Williams), heiress Georgiana Lambe (Crystal Clarke), Heywood’s fiancé Ralph Starling (Cal Brigden), and the mysterious Alexander Colbourne (Ben Lloyd-Hughes). Also back are Colbourne’s tomboyish young daughter, Leonora (Flora Mitchell), and his rebellious niece, Augusta (Eloise Webb), who falls for a questionable admirer. The tireless Parker family returns — Tom (Kris Marshall), wife Mary (Kate Ashfield) and brother Arthur (Turlough Convery) — as well as the town’s resident financier Lady Denham (Anne Reid) and Edward (Jack Fox), her double-dealing nephew. Lady Susan (Sophie Winkleman) also makes ahigh-society return to Sanditon. New visitors bring new and intriguing romantic possibilities.
