Unaware that his birth was the product of an affair between his mother Susan and the scoundrel John Bellasis, a troubled childhood has left Frederick deeply insecure, which challenges his courtship of and marriage to Clara. Edward Bluemel plays Dr. Stephen Ellerby, Toby Regbo is Rev. James Trenchard, Frederick’s estranged brother. Hannah Onslow is Emily Dunn, Clara’s older sister who is attracted to the reverend. Sophie Thompson is Mrs. Dunn, Emily and Clara’s devoted mother. MGM Plus has released today first images and also the first trailer for BELGRAVIA: THE NEXT CHAPTER the sequel to Julian Fellowes unsuccessful small screen adaptation of his own book which now gets new characters and is poised to air January 14th three years after the original series. Set 25 years after the original story, in 1871, it revolves around the third Lord Trenchard as he falls in love with a newcomer to London society.

Well, it has been an extremely long wait, but HBO is finally bringing us the second season of Julian Fellowes' wonderful and highly entertaining costume drama GILDED AGE which will land October 29th with eight new episodes set again during the Gilded Age in America, a period of immense economic change, of great conflict between the old ways and brand new systems and of fortunes made and lost. Over in the United Kingdom, the new season will start a day later, October 30th on Sky Atlantic! Today you can check out the insanely gorgeous and super glitzy costumes in the brand new trailer that has been released today filled with lavish gowns and even more lavish sets, it is splendour all around:
 
THE SECOND SEASON
 begins on Easter morning 1883, with the news that Bertha Russell’s (Carrie Coon) bid for a box at the Academy of Music has been rejected. Throughout the season, Bertha challenges Mrs. Astor (Donna Murphy) and the old system and works to not only gain a foothold in Society but to potentially take a leading role in it. George Russell (Morgan Spector) takes on his own battle with a growing union at his steel plant in Pittsburgh. In the Brook House, Marian (Louisa Jacobson) continues her journey to find her way in the world secretly teaching at a girls’ school while much to everyone’s surprise Ada (Cynthia Nixon) begins a new courtship. Of course, Agnes (Christine Baranski) approves of none of it. In Brooklyn, the Scott family begins to heal from a shocking discovery, and Peggy (Denée Benton) taps into her activist spirit through her work with T. Thomas Fortune at the NY Globe. Sophie Winkleman might star in new Belgravia
season three years after over at American MGM Plus formerly known as Epix. The first to be added to the cast is a real life royalty Sophie Winkleman, also known as Lady Frederick Windsor, the son of Prince Michael of Kent. As Daily Mail reports, she is set to play the part of aristocrat Lady Rochester, which is one of the pivotal roles in the story! The new series will be set 25 years on from where the last one left off and will tell an entirely new story. She and Fellowes, who is also preparing a second season of Gilded Age at HBO, have worked before on his Titanic mini series.
