GILDED AGE TO RETURN WITH THE THIRD SEASON THIS JUNE! SEE LAVISH FIRST IMAGES AND AIRING DATE PLUS THE NEW CAST

   GILDED AGE SERIES
FIRST SEASON THREE IMAGES
After announcing a slate of actors who have joined the third season of HBO's popular costume drama GILDED AGE back in August, we now have first images and the return date for the 19th century lavish high society of New York set drama. The third season should arrive this June with eight new episodes!

THE STORY OF SEASON 3
Following the Opera War, the old guard is weakened and the Russells stand poised to take their place at the head of society. Bertha sets her sights on a prize that would elevate the family to unimaginable heights while George risks everything on a gambit that could revolutionize the railroad industry — if it doesn’t ruin him first. Across the street, the Brook household is thrown into chaos as Agnes refuses to accept Ada’s new position as lady of the house. Peggy meets a handsome doctor from Newport whose family is less than enthusiastic about her career. As all of New York hastens toward the future, their ambition may come at the cost of what they truly hold dear.

 THE CAST OF SEASON 3
Bobby Steggert will appear as the famed artist John Singer Sargent, who has just begun his career painting the great ladies of society, while Hannah Shealy is Charlotte Astor, the married daughter of Mrs. Astor (Donna Murphy), recently returned from an eventful trip abroad. Dylan Baker plays Dr. Logan, a family doctor who treats a number of high society families, with Kate Baldwin as Nancy Adams Bell, the older sister of John Adams (Claybourne Elder), Michael Cumpsty as Lord Mildmay, a British nobleman who comes to dine at Sidmouth Castle, and John Ellison Conlee as the successful, educated and polished businessman, Weston! Paul Alexander Nolan has joined as Alfred Merrick, a dashing, wealthy New York businessman, who has all the hallmarks of the old money set – elegance, refinement and sophistication. The Russells invite him to dine at their home in the hopes of charming him into a business deal. Carrie Coon, Morgan Spector, Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Harry Richardson, and Blake Ritson will also be joined by Bill Camp, Merritt Wever, Leslie Uggams, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Hattie Morahan, Andrea Martin and Jessica Frances Dukes in the new season which arrives this summer.

  4. I'll probably start watching this one this summer. I initially wasn't interested because Nixon drives me bonkers, but it does seem like a decent watch regardless.

    1. Her character is actually one of the most likeable in the series, it is everything opposite of what she is privately LOL

    2. That's a shocker. I hate every character she's ever played. It's nice to know I won't want to hurl my remote at her face when I do watch this LOL

    3. She plays a subservient sister to Baranski, but at the end of the season two actually by a twist of fate becomes the lady of the house and Baranski has to deal with it. The worst in the series is their niece played by the godawful Meryl Streep's daughter nepobaby.
