Apple TV + has finished last month with the first image of Jason Momoa in his epic new series CHIEF OF WAR just two weeks ago and now we already have a new teaser and also some epic new images from the series 
that has the start date set for August 1st
when it will launch with first two episodes and then continue streaming weekly with new episodes.

NEW SERIES CHIEF OF WAR
depicts the unification and colonization of Hawai’i from an
indigenous point of view with Momoa playing warrior Ka’iana, as he
tries to unify the islands
before Western colonization in the late 18th
century. Back then the four major kingdoms of Hawaii were constantly in a
state of war. Legendary warrior 
Kaʻiana is pulled into battle when
Seers and visions name him as the one who will fulfill an Ancient
Prophecy that will bring peace to all of Hawaii.

Te Ao o Hinepehinga portrays Kupuohi, the wife of Ka’iana (Momoa). Kaina Makua is Kamehameha, the prophesied king who is destined to unite
the warring kingdoms of the Hawaiian Islands. Moses Goods plays Moku, Chief Advisor to Kamehameha of Hawai’i and Ka’ahumanu’s (Luciane 
Buchanan) father. Siua Ikale’o portrays Nahi,’ Ka’iana’s youngest brother. Brandon Finn plays Prince Kūpule, the son of King Kahekili (Temuera
Morrison). James Udom is Tony, a runaway slave who befriends Ka’iana and finds a new home in Hawaii. Mainei Kinimaka portrays

DeleteWish they would have shown Hawaii landscapes i the teaser. This trailer told us absolutely nothing. They could have pieced together something a little more interesting.
ReplyDeleteIt is a teasing teaser, be patient, a trailer is coming soon, methinks. I do like two hunks in the second photo, they will be my reason to watch, methinks.
DeleteHopefully it's a good one. I wrote this one off because I am not a Momoa fan, but yes, those hunks do make me want to reconsider.

DeleteI finished last week the third and the final season of THE NEWSREADER my fave series ever and now I have a TV depression. Nothing will fill up the void. I did start TEN POUND POMS and HARDACRES, both nice shows, and POPPA'S HOUSE, which is bad and has been cancelled last night.
