'DEBRIS' SF SERIES
ALIEN SPACECRAFT MYSTERY
Autumn 2020 landscapes on the small screens won't be overly pretty, as you already know, as we will be faced with only what networks managed to stash of the finished programmes before the corona outbreak, but hopefully
there will be interesting things in that offer too. DEBRIS is the only NBC drama that got its pilot shot before the lockdown, and thanks to that, it got the whole season order. Other pilots (more than 10 of them) will be done for next seasons when the situation allows.
The series is written and executive produced by J.H. Wyman |
Debris Science Fiction Series

follows two agents from two different continents, and two different mindsets,
If the shooting does not start soon the show will probably hit midseason |
Who Is In The Cast?
Jonathan Tucker plays one of the agents Bryan Beneventi, who is described as a headstrong, smart CIA operative currently working on the investigation of
strange occurrences. British actress Riann Steele plays the other - Finola Jones. Her character is a classic rule following MI6 agent who is partnered with Beneventi.
The series managed to finish about 80% of its pilot episode before the outbreak |
This doesn't look bad at all. Probably not one I'll watch as this isn't really the genre I steer towards, but I bet this one does well on NBC.
ReplyDeleteThey are putting all their hopes in it, I just don't think they will manage to produce it soon. They could send all their shows to be produced abroad, we already have a few underway here, but I'm guessing your laws put a limit on the number of shows that can be done outside your borders. Here, everything is allowed, so for a bit of bribe they could shoot all their productions in my country LOL
DeleteI'm sure some bribes are done here to push things past the limits as well. Corruption is the name of the game everywhere these days.
DeleteHere more than anywhere, you cannot even get treated in hospitals well if you don't bribe the doctors and the nurses at least a bit.
DeleteI would have sworn that was Chris Pratt until I got to the third photo. Then I realized it was a more handsome version of him. LOL I would watch just for the lead. :)
ReplyDeleteWhaaat? Chris is big and muscly, Jonathan is thin and wiry and not really pretty, not that he isn't handsome too.
DeleteI don't know. Chris Pratt makes me laugh, but I never really found him attractive. He's more like a goof.
DeleteWell, he is tall, muscly, blond and has puppy face, that's handsome :) Goofy hot.
DeleteLOL, ok, fine.. I will submit to "goofy hot". Chris Hemsworth is still my favorite Chris, though. :)
DeleteHe is everybody's fave, methinks :)
DeleteI think this sounds interesting. I hadn't heard about this one but I'll probably watch it now.
ReplyDeleteHope it does not disappoint!
DeleteOoo, fun!
ReplyDeleteThis Covid-19 disaster is looking to be worse for film and TV than writers strikes.
And they don't seem to have solutions. Films are being produced again by quarantining the cast and crew together, but they haven't been using that for series for some reason, at least in USA. They will be buying a lot of British, Canadian and Australian shows to fill up all the holes this Autumn.
