The series starts at the end of July this summer
Although we still don't know when it will air in UK on ITV (I'm guessing the same date), exotic period set drama THE SINGA- PORE GRIP will start on BBC First and on Foxtel in Australia July 26th! Coming from Mammoth Screen, the creators of Poldark and Victoria, it is an ambitious and exotic six part family saga set in colonial Singapore during World War Two. This epic drama follows the schemes – both commercial and amorous – of a wealthy British family as they struggle to preserve their prosperous business amid cataclysmic world
The series is based on a classic book by J.G. Farrell

The series will air in six hourlong episodes
Treadaway, Jane Horrocks, Colm Meaney, Luke Newberry, Elizabeth Tan, Bart Edwards, Charles Dance star in the adaptation of J.G. Farrell’s classic novel. Stay tuned for more info from ITV soon.
