GATHERS CAST AT NETFLIX
One of Netflix' new TV series which is looking to start shooting soon over at New Zealand SWEET TOOTH certainly has an original plot: the eight
episode fantasy drama follows the adventures of Gus (Christian Convery), part deer, part boy, who leaves his home in the forest to find the outside world ravaged by a cataclysmic event. He joins a ragtag family of humans and animal children hybrids like himself in search of answers about this new world and the mystery behind his hybrid origins. Dania Ramirez will be playing Aimee, a pioneer in the middle of dystopic America, a lone scavenger in an abandoned city, rebuilding a sustainable habitat and giving orphaned hybrids a home.
Nonso Anozie will be Tommy Jepperd, a former professional athlete who becomes Gus’ protector, while Adeel Akhtar is Dr. Singh, a scientist seeking a cure for
his wife, which Gus may be the key to. Will Forte will reoccur as Gus’ father. The series, narrated by James Brolin, is based on DC Vertigo's comic. The crew will self isolate itself during the shooting which should start in September.

Disney + has unveiled first photos from the new contemporary movie adaptation of Anna Sewell's BLACK BEAUTY in which Kate WInslet is lending her voice to the beautiful horse. It tells the story of a wild mustang
born free in the American west. She is captured and taken away from her family. The horse's story is intertwined with that of a 17-year old named Jo
Green (Mackenzie Foy), who similarly lost her parents. The two end up developing a bond that is built on love, respect and mutual healing. Iain Glen and Claire Forlani also star. The film will stream later this year.
