Just as I promised you two weeks ago when I presented you with the first trailer for it, your trusted spy is bringing you a premium spotlight on new epic fantasy adventure series THE OUTPOST which hits CW July 10th in Northern America and a number of SyFy channels around the world, including Europe (Germany, UK, Ireland and others) and Australia. This is the first summer series for CW and it will air in ten hourlong episodes coming from the kitchen of experienced Dean Devlin, the legendary producer and writer of cult science fiction movie Stargate, who is now executive producing the new television series with

THE STORY OF THE OUTPOST
follows Talon (Jessica Green, whom you watched in Ash vs
Evil Dead), the lone survivor of a race called “Blackbloods.” Years
after her entire village is
Jessica Green will be Talon with supernatural powers!
destroyed by a gang of brutal mercenaries,
Talon travels to a lawless fortress on the edge of the civilized world,
as she tracks the killers of her family. On her
Jake Stormoen will obviously be the knight of the crew
journey to this outpost,
Talon discovers she possesses a mysterious supernatural power that she
must learn to control in order to save herself, and
Imogen Waterhouse will obviously be the princess of the crew
defend the world
against a fanatical religious dictator (played by Philip Brodie). Our dear actor Andrew Howard whom we fell in love with back in
Anand Desai Barochia will obviously be the brains of the crew
the old days when he played Richard the Lionheart in mini series Lion in Winter, after which he also starred in Hatfields and McCoys, Hell on Wheels, is also in the cast.

Stormoen (Extinct, Mythica) as Garret, Imogen Waterhouse (Nocturnal Animals, Braid) as Gwynn, Anand Desai Barochia (Emmerdale, Lake Mead) as Janzo and Robyn Malcolm (Top of the Lake, Hostiles).
Just a heads-up, Andrew Howard’s character isn’t the main villain/religious dictator. That’s being played by Philip Brodie. Andrew’s character is more of an opportunistic mercenary who seeks gain amidst the struggle.
I shall miss this one as I’ll be traveling then. I do like the costumes!
