'CALIBRE' TRAILER
JACK LOWDEN IN NETFLIX FILM
The only thing I have to show you at the end of the working week is poster and trailer for a film which just won Best British Feature Film at the 72nd
Edinburgh International Film Festival! CALIBRE stars our dearest Scottish boy Jack Lowden whom we cannot wait to watch this winter in Mary Queen of Scots as Lord Darnley!
The movie hits Netflix as of today! |
Netflix has picked up the action thriller, debut feature of Matt
Palmer, who also wrote the story in which Jack Lowden and Martin McCann
play two lifelong friends who head up to an isolated Scottish Highlands
village for a weekend hunting trip but what happens there is something
than nothing could have prepared them for. Tony Curran and Ian Pirie
also star in the movie which starts airing today at Netflix worldwide!
Looks like the hunters become the hunted. I hope this isn't torture porn, is it?
ReplyDeleteno, they accidentally shoot somebody instead of a deer in the middle of the wood and then try to cover it up...
DeleteIt appears to have a good-looking, talented cast, but for what purpose...shooting a man? Whether incidentally or not, the movie's not appealing to me.
ReplyDeleteThe purpose is probably to show people what unexpected things can happen when you're not careful and thus warn them to always be alert.
DeleteWhy the hell would you cover it up if it were an accident? They need to grow a pair and take responsibility for their f*ck up.
ReplyDeleteda first question would actually be why da hell would you even go hunting in the first place.... only those who don't have a pair, you know, have the need to shoot innocent animals :(
DeleteGrow a pair they need. Indeed.
ReplyDeletenot proper Scots at all
DeleteIt ain't? Well, humbug!
DeleteScots usually have balls
