AGATHA'S MURDER IS EASY
UNVEILS FIRST CAST PHOTOS
THE STORY OF THE SERIES
is set in England, 1954. On a train to London, a man going by
the name of Luke Fitzwilliam (David Jonsson) meets Miss Pinkerton (Penelope Wilton), who tells him that a
killer is on the loose in the sleepy English village of Wychwood under
Ashe.
The villagers believe the deaths are mere accidents, but Miss Pinkerton
knows otherwise - and when she's later found dead on her way to Scotland
Yard, Luke feels he must find the killer before they can strike again.
Because for a certain kind of person, murder is easy. Morfydd Clark stars as Bridget, Sinead Matthews as Miss Waynflete, Tom Riley as Lord Whitfield, Douglas Henshall as Major Horton, Mathew Baynton as Dr Thomas and Mark Bonnar as Reverend Humbleby! Previous BBC
adaptations And Then There Were None, The Witness For The Prosecution, Ordeal By Innocence, The ABC Murders and The Pale Horse were not overly successful.
I have no idea why I don't like Agatha Christie...tried to read some of her books, but it's just effing boring.
ReplyDeleteSome of the old adaptations used to be good and atmospheric, but not these new ones, especially the crap Branagh is pumping out.
DeleteI’ll probably end up skipping this one. I am with Angie that some of her works are a bit boring.
ReplyDeleteThe BBC adaptations certainly have been in recent years.
