MASTERS OF THE AIR
FIRST TRAILER FROM APPLE SERIES
We have been waiting for this one for years now, but now Apple TV Plus has finally decided to give us first trailer from their high end World War II series MASTERS OF THE AIR which is a continuation of the legendary award winning Band of Brothers
saga. This time it will be the story of the pilots who had to become
masters of the air in order to defeat the enemy planes. Produced again
by Steven Spielberg the series will launch January 26th opening the TV season of the new 2024 with two episodes with the rest of the nine part season streaming weekly till mid March! Our dearest Callum Turner leads the insanely massive, and I must admit exquisitely hunky, cast which also includes Austen Butler, Anthony Boyle, Louis Hofmann, Ben Radcliffe, Edward Ashley, Nate Mann, Rafferty Law, Barry Keoghan, Josiah Cross, Branden Cook, Sam Hazeldine, Bel Powley, and Ncuti Gatwa. Based on Donald L. Miller’s book the limited series follows the true story ofan American bomber group in World War II.

THE STORY OF THE MASTERS OF THE AIR SERIES FOLLOWS
the men of the 100th Bomb Group (the “Bloody Hundredth”) as they
conduct perilous bombing raids over Nazi Germany and grapple with the
frigid conditions, lack of oxygen, and sheer terror of combat conducted
at 25,000 feet in the air. Portraying the psychological and emotional
price paid by these young men as they helped destroy the horror of
Hitler’s Third Reich, is at the heart of Masters of the Air. Some were
shot down and captured; some were wounded or killed. And some were lucky
enough to make it home. Regardless of individual fate, a toll was
exacted on them all. Check out the teaser trailer and tell us what you think.
Anything produced by Stephen Spielberg is usually good. If it's like Band of Brothers, it'll be a success.
ReplyDeleteHope it will be good although I cannot digest Austen Butler, I don't think he is good enough for this kind of series, but I do adore Callum Turner so I will watch it for him.
DeleteYeeeh, It's all I have to watch this winter.
ReplyDeleteThe winter does look bleek on the telly especially as most of the networks are currently deciding to push new shows to next season not to midseason which will probably be dead due to the strike ending too late.
DeleteOne for Jason, and with the hunky cast, I'm inclined to watch with him. I agree about Butler. He seems like a real douche.
ReplyDeleteHe is a terrible actor yet they praise him like he is Jesus Christ.
