JAMES NORTON TO LEAD
PLAYING NICE ITV MINI SERIES
The news is just in that ITV has given James Norton the lead role in their new baby swap series PLAYING NICE based on JP Delaney's novel. Niamh Algar, James McArdle and Jessica Brown Findlay will also star! The series follows two couples who discover that their toddlers were switched at birth in a hospital mix-up. Set against the sweeping backdrop of Cornwall, they face an agonizing dilemma: do they keep the sons they have raised and loved, or reclaim their biological child?
Pete (Norton) and Maddie (Algar) are jettisoned into the world of the other couple: Miles (McArdle) and Lucy (Brown Findlay). All four agree a solution, but it becomes clear that hidden motives are at play. In France, the series will air on Canal Plus.
It must be painful for both families. I only know James Norton from Grantchester, which I didn't even finish all the seasons.
ReplyDeleteI am wrecking my head around the possible solution and cannot seem to come with it. What on Earth is their solution? Maybe switching kids periodically like divorced parents? But how do you coparent with strangers?
DeleteThat would be a nightmare. I’d want them both and I’m sure the other parents would too. Coparenting would be the only solution it seems.
ReplyDeleteIt is an absolute clusterfuck.
