THE MAN FROM ROME TRAILER
WITH RICHARD ARMITAGE
Oh, forgive me, father, for I have sinned! Should I kneel before you? Admit you so would if Richard Armitage really was a priest like he is in THE MANF ROM ROME which already aired in cinemas around
Europe last year, but will be released in USA cinemas and VOD from June 30th! After showing us himself in his full glorious nakedness in Netflix' Obsession series, he now repents for his naughty sins as Vatican intelligence operative Father Quart who investigates an anonymous message sent to the Pope concerning a crumbling Spanish church that kills to defend itself! A deep conspiracy unfolds that puts Father Quart’s loyalty and faith to the test. Based on the novel The Seville Communion by Arturo Perez-Reverte, and directed by Sergio Dow, it also has Franco Nero and Fionnula Flanagan in the cast.
The Man From Rome is out June 30th |
HAPPINESS FOR BEGINNERS
NETFLIX MOVIE TRAILER
Netflix has, meanwhile, released a trailer for their new romantic comedy movie HAPPINESS FOR BEGINNERS which arrives July 27th! For
some, a post-divorce reset means getting a drastic new haircut. But in this comedy, Helen (Ellie Kemper) deals with the end of her marriage in a more creative way: by enrolling in a backcountry survival course hiking the Appalachian Trail. Directed by Vicky Wight, this adaptation of Katherine Center’s popular novel of the same name follows Helen as she and her quirky group of fellow hikers test themselves against nature. As it turns out, though, bear traps and blisters might be easier to deal with than the arrival of handsome newcomer Jake (Luke Grimes). Will Helen find more than mosquitoes in the wilderness?
Happiness for Beginners streams from July 27th |
We went from screaming Oh Daddy to Dear God! lol
ReplyDeleteHappiness looks cute. I like to fool myself into thinking I could hike the trail, then I remember I'm lazy, hate bugs, and love modern conveniences like running water and a cozy mattress every night.
And toilets! I could not live without toilets and water! And AC!
DeleteYes, toilets are a must! Showers. AC. Movies. Not having blisters on my feet from all that walking.... Those people are nuts.
DeleteI cannot return to the life without AC!
DeleteLol oh yes he is attractive and to be a priest that would just be such a shame. Sounds like an interesting movie though.
ReplyDeleteNot a shame for the rest of the brotherly loving priests from his church LOL
DeleteI really enjoy Richard Armitage in MI5...can't really remember his other series.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of MI5, he became famous with his roles in North and South and Robin Hood series, and he was also Thorin the Dwarf in Hobbit movies.
DeleteI think MI5 is the American name for the show that was called Spooks in the UK. Sometimes show names are changed if there is likely to be confusion. Back in the day the cartoon show Top Cat was called Boss Cat in the UK because there used to be a brand of cat food called Top Cat. The first show in which I saw Richard Armitage was North and South.
ReplyDeleteI have never managed to find North and South to watch it, but I do know that is when he stole the hearts of so many ladies. I have tons of readers among his faithful fans and a lot of them have become my friends over the years.
