It will have its world premiere at Venice Film Festival next week, and will air later on this year on Netflix and in some selected theatres as well in
The film will hit Netflix this Autumn
Northern America and UK, but today you can watch the trailer for historical drama THE KING with Timothee Chalamet as King Henry V!  In the film, he first appears as Hal, wayward prince and reluctant heir to the English throne, who has turned his back on royal life and is living among the people. But when his tyrannical father (Ben Mendelsohn) dies, Hal is crowned King Henry V and is forced to embrace the life he had previously tried to escape. Now the young king must navigate the palace politics, chaos and war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life, including his relationship with his closest friend and mentor, the ageing alcoholic knight, John Falstaff (Joel
Robert Pattinson is Henry's enemy, the stubborn Dauphin of France
Edgerton). The cast also includes Robert Pattinson as the dauphin of France. It definitely isn't a very promising cast and the acting looks as bland as Chalamet, Edgerton, Pattinson usually get in their constant lack of any acting expressiveness, but you can judge it for yourself below:

  2. I'm glad you said it was bland first. I started to let my mind drift during the trailer, so it definitely failed to snap up my attention. And Pattinson needs a tan. Looks like he's still trying to pull off that vampire look.
