The World on Fire show looks very good. I like it’s focus on ordinary people and not the typical setting.
ReplyDeleteHope it won't disappoint like most of this year's BBC shows
DeleteI do love the picture of the lady sitting on her man's bike. It's very sweet! If only I wasn't too short to reach the handlebars and if we still used bikes...
DeleteWe use them massively here as we can cross the town on a bike within an hour or less :)
DeleteSo Helen Hunt won't be reprising her role on Mad About You?
ReplyDeleteShe will if it ever gets made again, not that anyone needs it.
DeleteI've been looking forward to this one. You know Jason loves these kinds of films, so I'll save it for date night at home.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a series, deary, not a film :) Seven episodes.
DeleteAnd we shall wait for the series to run its course and watch it over the course of the weekend.
DeleteSounds like a plan, I'm guessing it will air there on Masterpiece next winter.
DeleteNice. A short series can be better than a single film because they can do better with a large cast.
ReplyDeleteThey do sometimes leave us wanting for more after just seven or eight episode run :(
DeleteI'm on the fence but will give it an episode or two......
ReplyDeleteHope it wins us over!
DeleteI love this type of shows:D :**Regards
ReplyDeleteHope it will be broadcast in your country as well
