Sadly, sometimes when I see today's generations I wonder what did these brave men fight for?
DeleteImagine having that much pressure on you. 1600 lives massacred if he doesn't deliver the message in time? I can't imagine a more high pressure situation.

DeleteVery true. I am sure our ancestors are looking down on this generation with and head shake and a 'wtf' look on their faces.
DeleteIt makes me cry whenever I watch one of the movies set in the prewar era and see how wonderfully the kids were raised back then, with utter respect towards the elders and the world around them.
