'BLOODLEAF' YA BOOK
PRINCESS AURELIA MOVES TO TV
Here's a new fantasy series for you (if it ever gets made, that is): as Deadline reports, Cavalry Media has bought TV series rights on YA fantasy novel
BLOODLEAF from Crystal Smith. It was published in March with second part Greythorne out next year. It follows Princess Aurelia a prisoner to her crown and the heir that nobody wants. Fearing her magic, the people have turned against her. After an assassination attempt, Aurelia must flee her country and disguise herself as a commoner in a distant land. As she hides in plain sight and perfects her magic, she begins to fall for a man who is forbidden to rule beside her. But the ghosts that haunt Aurelia refuse to abandon her, exposing a wicked plot that only she can defeat and forcing her to choose between the weight of the crown and the freedom of her new life.

'CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?'
And I totally forgot to update you on this one: a new romantic comedy which will get a limited Northern American release this September! CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET, starring Tyler Hoechlin and Alexandra Daddario is a big screen adaptation of Sophie Kinsella's best selling book. Dadario plays Emma who, thinking they're about to crash, spills her secrets to a stranger on a plane. At least, she thought he was a stranger... Until she later meets Jack, her company's young CEO, who now knows every
humiliating detail about her. The movie, directed by Elise Duran, has already, for some reason, hit Turkish cinemas! Check out the trailer below:

Most adult people can keep a secret; not forever and not at all costs, though. That's how it all starts: scandals, drama, comedy, tragedy - you name it.
ReplyDeleteWhenever you mention magic and fantasy stuff (and you do this a lot) all that comes to my mind is how can I get some magic abilities for myself; it could come handy and help a lot in life.
I suppose 'Bloodleaf', like all the other fantasy movies, won't disclose the secret.
Would be really nice having magical powers! There are those Indian jogis who can live without food and water, so maybe there is such magic in all of us, but we're using just a very small percent of our human brains, who knows what the rest of it hides...
DeleteI haven't read the YA series, but might add it to my read list.
ReplyDeleteCan You Keep A Secret looks quirky and adorable. I remember reading about that one here a while back and forgot all about it. Nice to see there's a trailer for it finally!
Yep, I remember writing and forgetting about it too LOL
DeleteThe Bloodleaf show sounds juicy!! While the plot twist of falling for the one forbidden man is common, I'm a sucker for it. That may need to be my next book to read.
ReplyDeleteHope it is not a disappointing book!
